Balsoon Lodge is a luxury, self-catering guesthouse located in Bective in Co. Meath, Ireland.
Situated in the heart of the Boyne Valley, this beautifully appointed lodge is a haven of rural seclusion. Located on the private grounds of a family residence, with its own garden, the Lodge is the ideal countryside retreat space. Relax and unwind the pastoral idyll of the surrounds, where quietness abounds. Sit back and listen to the birds twittering in the trees, dawn, dusk and in-between or enjoy a glass of wine in front of the stove. Your hosts will always ensure there is a log fire burning upon your arrival.
The name Balsoon derives from the Irish for Valley of the Sorrel. Balsoon is a townland of Bective, a small rural hamlet situated on the left bank of the River Boyne , 10 minutes from both the bustling county towns of Navan and Trim and 5 minutes from the village of Kilmessan.
